Summer 2022 Enrichment

Ceramics (All grades)

Students will learn how to hand build exciting projects with ceramic clay. Vases, coil pots, name plates, picture frames and animal forms will be fired to a stone-like hardness in the kiln and painted by the students in a variety of glazes. The projects will be fired a final time to bring out a colorful, glasslike finish.

*Ceramic clay is a different medium than Polymer clay. Both classes focus on sculpture, however, the creation process is different. Students are encouraged to take both Polymer & Ceramics if interested*
