All SCOPE Child Care programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services and are operated in public schools on Long Island.
SCOPE Day Care programs provide a safe, fun, caring environment for the children of school district employees.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides students with opportunities for exploration, play and discovery that builds on children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth.
Junior Jammers (Beginners) students entering grade 4
This course is provided for students who wish to learn how to play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French Horn, trombone, baritone, tuba or percussion. This is a beginning level course designed for students who have NEVER played the instrument and have been assigned this instrument by their school music teacher. Junior Jammers is a great way to get a head-start on your instrument. Students will use the same method books used during the school year and will be working with a Huntington alumni who is now a music teacher!
