All SCOPE Child Care programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services and are operated in public schools on Long Island.

The Creative Hands & Heart Club is the perfect place for middle school students to explore practical skills for everyday life and creative hobbies! This club offers a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, members get hands-on experience with a variety of activities, including cooking, crafting, gardening, and learning useful daily living skills. Each day offers something new—whether it's preparing simple, delicious recipes with friends, creating fun art and crafts projects, growing plants in the garden, or practicing practical skills like budgeting or organizing.
The club focuses on building confidence, developing problem-solving abilities, creativity and independence, all while fostering teamwork and a sense of accomplishment. It's a safe, supportive space where students can learn new hobbies, develop lifelong skills, and make lasting friendships.
