Kindness Crew Afterschool Program Tuesdays and Thursdays with Ms. Valentino
Join the Kindness Crew — an inspiring afterschool program where middle school students learn the power of empathy, creativity, and community! Through the fun tradition of Kindness Rocks, students decorate colorful stones with uplifting messages and place them around the school and local neighborhoods to brighten someone’s day.
But it doesn’t stop there! Each week, participants explore Social Emotional Learning (SEL) themes like gratitude, resilience, teamwork, and self-awareness through hands-on activities, group discussions, and reflection. Students will work together on kindness missions — from writing anonymous encouragement notes to organizing small acts of service that make a big impact.
In the Kindness Crew, students build confidence, make new friends, and discover how small actions can create ripples of positive change. It’s creative, meaningful, and full of heart — because kindness isn’t just something we talk about… it’s something we do.
