Superhero Science & STEM
Calling all young heroes! In this high-energy STEM adventure, students will use science and engineering to explore their favorite superhero powers and bring them to life. Each week features exciting, hands-on experiments and projects — design a “super-strength” bridge to hold heavy objects, build a “web-slinging” launcher, create a superhero cape that can glide like a hero in flight, and engineer “invisibility” cloaks with optical illusions. Kids will also experiment with chemical reactions to make “exploding potions, ” design their own gadgets, and test forces, motion, and magnetism through heroic challenges. By the end of the course, every student will have a portfolio of projects showing off their super-science skills, teamwork, and creativity — proving that anyone can be a STEM superhero!
