Coding Coding: Gaming & Interactive Animation: In the Interactive Animations and Games club, students create programmatic images, animations, interactive art, and games. Starting off with simple, primitive shapes and building up to more sophisticated sprite-based games, students become familiar with the programming concepts and the design process computer scientists use daily. They then learn how these simpler constructs can be combined to create more complex programs. In the final project, students develop a personalized, interactive program.

Books and Bots! Join us for an exciting journey through stories and robots! In Books and Bots, we’ll explore picture books that take us into the world of STEM and robotics. Each week, we’ll dive into a fun and colorful story and then put on our engineering hats to build, create, and experiment with simple robotics and STEM activities. From creating our own robot sidekick to coding through games, this class is perfect for young makers who love to imagine, build, and play. Come ready to read, think, and get hands-on with fun robots!

Winter Wonderland Treats: Global Festive Cooking & Chocolate Fun! Step into the magical world of winter treats with this festive, hands-on cooking and chocolate-making class for grades K-5! Over eight engaging Saturdays, young chefs will explore winter traditions from around the world through fun, nobake recipes and chocolate-making activities. With easy-to-follow steps, this class encourages creativity, teamwork, and a love for holiday-inspired culinary arts. From crafting chocolate snowmen to making global holiday favorites, students will learn about different cultures while creating delicious, winter-themed sweets. Each session offers 1.5 hours of fun and food as we celebrate the warmth and joy of winter through treats from near and far
