  • NHP-GCP Creative Painting & Sculpting @ Manor Oaks

Creative Painting & Sculpting Celebrate the colors and textures of the season in this hands-on art enrichment course designed for elementary students! Each week, young artists will explore the beauty of fall through a variety of creative projects. Using watercolor, students will paint vibrant autumn leaves, cozy harvest scenes, and seasonal landscapes. On canvas, they’ll create bold, colorful masterpieces inspired by the changing season. Students will also work with air-dry clay to sculpt festive pumpkins, woodland creatures, and other fall treasures. This class blends painting and sculpture to give students a well-rounded artistic experience while encouraging creativity, imagination, and personal expression. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of seasonal artwork to proudly display at home.
  • NHP-GCP STEM & Science in a Bottle @ Manor Oaks

STEM in a Bottle: Science Fun for Curious Minds In this exciting hands-on enrichment course, elementary students will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through creative experiments—all inside a bottle! Each week, students will make a new project that they can take home to observe, explore, and enjoy. This class sparks curiosity, builds problem-solving skills, and shows that STEM can be fun, colorful, and interactive. Sample Projects Include: Lava Lamp Bottle – Discover density and chemical reactions while creating a bubbling, glowing lava lamp effect. Ocean in a Bottle – Explore layers of liquids and motion by building a mini ocean scene complete with “waves.” Tornado Twister Bottle – Engineer a swirling vortex to learn about force and motion. Rainbow Layers Bottle – Investigate density by stacking liquids of different weights to create a floating rainbow. Glitter Galaxy Bottle – Make a calming galaxy-in-a-bottle while exploring space, stars, and light. Ecosystem in a Bottle – Create a simple terrarium or water cycle model to observe life and environmental science. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of science bottles that showcase the magic of STEM and their own creativity!
