    Get ready for an action-packed Spring Break with our Spring Enrichment Experience, open to students in grades Pre-K through 8! Each day is filled with exciting lessons and activities designed to engage and inspire — from vibrant spring-themed art projects and canvas painting to hands-on STEM experiments and creative science challenges. Students will build, explore, craft, and play their way through a week of learning and fun! This program is the perfect way to stay active, make new friends, and celebrate the season of growth and discovery. Students attending both sessions should bring a bagged lunch and will be supervised between 12:00–12:15 PM. Pizza will be provided on Friday for participants!

    Please register here online to be a volunteer counselor at Garden City's SCOPE Enrichment Programs. We truly thank you! SCOPE only accepts applicants entering 9th through 12th grade. You MUST commit to all days in which you are signing up for. By registering on SCOPE’s website, you are submitting interest. You must complete this additional paper volunteer application and come to a mandatory in person orientation at a date to be decided. The link for the paper application is below. When entering your email address, please DO NOT use a @gardencity.k12.ny.us email, as those bounce back from SCOPE. Please enter a PERSONAL email address so we may communicate with you and your child. When completing the volunteer application please list your guidance counselor as one of your references on the application. You will PRINT and BRING this application to the mandatory orientations prior to the start of the program. We rely on the help of the HS counselors, so please apply if you know you can commit.     AI Graphic & Video Design: Canva, Adobe & More (Grades 7–12) One-Week Summer Intensive Explore the cutting edge of digital creativity in AI Graphic & Video Design, a one-week intensive for middle and high school students. This hands-on course introduces students to AI-powered design tools, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other industry-standard software to create stunning graphics, videos, and multimedia projects. Participants will learn to combine visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and animation with AI-assisted design techniques to produce professional-quality digital content. Designed for students Getting Ready for Kindergarten, Entering First Grade through Sixth Grade, this one-week enrichment program builds reading, writing, and math skills through hands-on activities, games, movement, and creative projects. Students learn using research-based approaches such as the Science of Reading, Writer’s Workshop, and foundational math strategies—but in ways that are active and exciting. Children will rotate through engaging literacy centers, interactive math games, storytelling and writing adventures, and plenty of active play that keeps young learners energized and focused. This program helps prevent the summer slide while building confidence and readiness for the upcoming school year—all in a positive, encouraging environment.   • Garden City Summer Afternoon Enrichment K-6

    SCOPE Enrichment is proudly offering an amazing afternoon summer enrichment program. Families can register weekly for our all inclusive enrichment program. Students will experience three courses each afternoon including 45 minutes of STEM lessons, 45 minutes of fine arts activities, and 45 minutes of physical activities and movement each day. * If students are continuing from morning enrichment, they must bring a bagged lunch. They will be supervised by SCOPE staff during lunch until 12:30 and then begin our amazing lessons and activities. *If your child would like to participate in the afternoon only, they can be dropped off at 12:30pm.
