Forks & Fiction Club — Where Stories Come to Life Through Flavor! (Wed & Friday w/ Ms. Wall)

Step into a world where literature leaps off the page and onto your plate! The Forks & Fiction Club is an imaginative afterschool experience that blends the joy of reading with the creativity of cooking. Each month, we’ll dive into a new book—ranging from magical adventures and historical tales to cultural journeys and classic novels—and explore the foods that bring those stories to life.

✨ What We Do:

  • Read and discuss engaging books chosen by the group
  • Explore the cultural, historical, or emotional significance of food in the story
  • Plan and prepare dishes inspired by scenes, characters, or settings
  • Learn basic cooking skills and kitchen safety
  • Share meals together and reflect on how taste deepens our understanding of the story
