All SCOPE Child Care programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services and are operated in public schools on Long Island.
SCOPE Day Care programs provide a safe, fun, caring environment for the children of school district employees.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides students with opportunities for exploration, play and discovery that builds on children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth.
Students will learn through step by step tutorial based instruction on how to create and paint their own canvas creations. Students will bring home their artistic creations and enhance their expressive art skills. Each day students will work on a new canvas creation and enjoy learning about art through expression and creation. We will focus on winter landscapes, holiday designs, and other various forms of canvas acrylic and tempera painting.
