All SCOPE Child Care programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services and are operated in public schools on Long Island.
SCOPE Day Care programs provide a safe, fun, caring environment for the children of school district employees.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides students with opportunities for exploration, play and discovery that builds on children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth.
Ms. Dimilta - Orchestra Teacher & Conductor - Students entering grades entering 4-8
The course includes the study and performances of great masterpieces of orchestral compositions, developing playing skills, and understanding compositional ideas. Young musicians will develop skills while performing more challenging music. Rhythms, sight-reading, tone quality, balance and interpretation are some of the many musical components that are stressed.
All orchestra instruments welcome and instruments will be provided.
