American Sculpting & Canvas Painting (Grades 6-8)One-Week Summer Intensive
Dive into a week of hands-on artistic exploration in American Sculpting & Canvas Painting, designed for middle and high school students with a passion for creativity. This intensive program blends three-dimensional sculpting techniques with expressive painting, allowing students to bring their ideas to life in multiple mediums.
Participants will experiment with sculpting materials to create original figures, abstract forms, and thematic art pieces inspired by American culture and contemporary styles. On the painting side, students will explore color theory, composition, and brush techniques as they design vibrant canvases that complement their sculptural creations. Emphasis is placed on self-expression, creativity, and technical skill development in a supportive, collaborative environment.
By the end of the week, students will complete a portfolio of sculptures and canvas paintings, leaving with tangible works of art and enhanced artistic confidence. This course is perfect for aspiring artists and anyone looking to explore their imagination through both 2D and 3D media.
