Students will learn how to manage large sets of data and program this data to help solve real world scenarios and problems. Join your friends as we learn about Artificial Intelligence, and how to program, design, and think creatively to get machines, computers and devices to help improve our society.

Join an amazing art instructor, as she teaches students different techniques and styles with clay sculpting. Students will have the opportunity to create projects while learning many different artistic styles. Students will create their own masterpieces from a skilled and certified art-instructor with a focus on mindfulness and artistic expression.

Here is a fun opportunity to work independently and collaboratively on STEAM-based activities! Through hands-on mathematics activities and tasks we need you to bring your creative minds to invent, create, and problem solve. Students will work on collaborative design thinking challenges while learning and utilizing skills in mathematics. Are you up for the challenge?

In this jewelry making class, students learn with friends the art of jewelry and bracelet design. Kids can use lanyard, rainbow loom, and string bracelets to be creative and design fashionable jewelry to take home and share with friends and families. Children will also learn skills and artistic techniques to design and sketch clothing.

Students will learn through step by step tutorial based instruction on how to create and paint their own creations. Students will bring home their artistic creations and enhance their expressive art skills. Each day students will work on a new creation and enjoy learning about art through expression. We will focus on spring landscapes and designs, and other various forms of acrylic and watercolor painting.

Read, Plan and Design structures after listening to a storybook. Students will build all 3 houses for the 3 Little Pigs, design Furniture for Little Red Riding Hood, engineer an escape for Rapunzel, make a new bed for Goldilocks and more! The characters give children a framework to explore how things work and the world beyond their home. Different stories will be read depending on age of students.

SCOPE often seeks the help of teens ages 16 and older to be volunteer counselors in training at our summer enrichment programs. Please register here online to be considered for a volunteer counselor position at a local SCOPE Summer enrichment program. SCOPE only accepts applicants that are 16 years and older at the time of the volunteering. You MUST be a student in the district and commit to all days per week for the week in which you are signing up for. By registering on SCOPE’s website, you are submitting interest. You must complete this additional paper volunteer application and come to a mandatory in person orientation at a date to be decided and communicated by the SCOPE Site-Director for this district at a later time through email. When completing the volunteer application please list your guidance counselor as one of your references on the application. SCOPE often seeks the help of teens ages 16 and older to be volunteer counselors in training at our summer enrichment programs. Please register here online to be considered for a volunteer counselor position at a local SCOPE Summer enrichment program. SCOPE only accepts applicants that are 16 years and older at the time of the volunteering. You MUST be a student in the district and commit to all days per week for the week in which you are signing up for. By registering on SCOPE’s website, you are submitting interest. You must complete this additional paper volunteer application and come to a mandatory in person orientation at a date to be decided and communicated by the SCOPE Site-Director for this district at a later time through email. The link for the paper application is below, please print and complete this form. Please enter a PERSONAL email address so we may communicate with you and your child. When completing the volunteer application please list your guidance counselor as one of your references on the application. You will bring this application to the mandatory orientations prior to the start of the program. We rely on the help of the HS counselors, so please apply for weeks in which you know you can commit. Each day students will engage and explore in one subject area including Arts & Crafts, STEM & Robotics, Sports & Fitness, Coding & Technology and Indoor & Outdoor Games.
