Theater & Performance Arts Step into the spotlight and discover the magic of live performance in this engaging high school course in theater and performing arts! Designed for students of all experience levels, this course will develop skills in acting, public speaking, and emotional intelligence through a variety of performance styles, including musical theater, improv comedy, and student-directed scenes. Through interactive exercises, character exploration, and scene work, students will build confidence, creativity, and stage presence while meeting NYS Learning Standards in Theater and ELA. Whether you dream of commanding the stage or simply want to enhance your communication skills, this course will challenge and inspire you to bring stories to life. The semester will culminate in a final showcase where students can shine in a performance of their choice! ?✨
